Runner-Runner-Rebuy

I made a bad bet yesterday. I knew it was a bad bet going in. But for some reason I thought I would win anyway. I guess thats what Real Football Fans do - make bad bets on their teams.

11am : See that Fake Football Fan publishes a post about eating Buffalo Burgers. I get agitated.

11:10am : I post a comment challenging FFF to a bet on the Bills/Pats game. Looser must purchase and wear opponents jersey at Winter Gathering on Friday night and Sunday.

11:45am : No response from FFF. I dig up an old WPBT contact list for her number. Her number is not listed. I think about texting Karol for it, but remember that she never returns texts. Ahhh.....I find fellow Team Al participant Jordan's number and text him asking for FFF's cell. Upstanding, responsible, chicken wing eater that he is, he replies quickly with the goods, and wished me luck.

11:50am : I call FFF, and get voicemail. I leave a message explaining the bet.

12:00pm-12:15pm : I text FFF -

Me : "Chicken? - VinNay"

FFF: "I'm in a Scrabble tournament, can't check vm. I assume this is about how my team is about to hurt yours. Text me details."

Me: "I put up a wager on clareified. Looser buys and wears opponents jersey at winter gathering (friday night and sunday) and cannot wear any of loosing teams gear all weekend."

FFF: "Alright, I suggest you get a moss jersey."

Me: "Ok, your will be a lynch jersey."

FFF: "Racist! :)"

Me: "Obama won, there is no racism in America anymore."

1:05pm : I have bettors remorse. The Bills are pretty banged up. Missing key players. Have not EVER won in Gillette Stadium. Are a 3.5 point dog and I didn't ask for the points. I bet on pure emotion, like a true Football Fan.

4:00pm : The facts of loosing are settling in when I receive a text from FFF.

FFF: "hahahhahaha enjoy your randy moss jersey, baby!!!!!! And no bills CRAP anywhere!!! Best bet ever!!!"

Me: "fine. Racism is officially back in America."
