Standing Straight Again

I seem to have gotten past my tilt from the past few weeks, thanks in part from comments and encouragement from readers and friends. Variance hit me a little bit this week, but I have been able to keep a clear head and continue to play my game. I played a few tourneys late last week and over the weekend and didn't make the money, but felt good about my play. Cash games have been going well, not up huge, but satisfied with where I am at right now. Basically, I'm just feeling much more stable in my game than I was a week ago. Luckily, my live game bankroll was unaffected by my recent stupidity.

I did manage to win the Hoy last night, so that was a nice little reward for getting back to my game, considering how things faired in the Hoy last week. I also won a double shootout to the Sunday millions on stars, which I will most likely just turn into tournament dollars.
I really need to get part 2 of my Winter Classic report up soon, but work, poker, reading other people's blogs, and Sabres games seem to have occupied every night for the last few weeks. I have a game with friends tonight and a Sabres home game tomorrow, so look for part 2 on Thursday night.
