Thursday Bash

I played in CC's Thursday Bash 20+2 on Stars tonight and luckboxed my way into second. I hit tons of pocket pairs and flops and my cards basically played themselves. I nearly railed SoxLover early on and he managed to turn T93 into about T2000 bfore I busted him out in 11th.

At the final table with around T5000 I doubled up though DnkyPnchr74. Blinds at 75/150, he raised to T450. In the small blind I call with 72o. Flop comes 77x, I check raise all in and get called with KK and boat the river. Supper Hammer! Ship it. My cards were hitting flops like that all night.

By the time it got to heads up I was at T23000 against sportingimag with around T6000 I doubled him up early and then again when his 22 cracked my JJ. I was crippled but managed to slowly take back the lead. The lead went back and forth over about an hour when I finally lost with 33 vs 77. It was a very tough HU match. Kudos to sportingimag and I wish him luck in the Bahamas.

Update - I just donked off all my tourney winnings playing at a $1/2 NL table. Set over set on 3 consecutive hands.

Second Update - Just won it all back and then some with boat over boat.
